Players

Below is a list of club players. If you would like your name added to this list, just let me know at erickcbackgammon.com. Those whose phone numbers and email are listed are interested in setting up times to meet and play others outside of tournaments.

Many of us play on the site DailyGammon. It has a great Web interface, so no software is necessary. And you don't have to be online at the same time as someone to play them in a match. You just take your next turn whenever you get a chance to go to the site. So some of our DailyGammon ID's are listed below. If you're a DailyGammon member, feel free to invite someone to a match. And if your ID is not listed here, let me know if you would like me to add it.

GNUBG

GNUBG is a free software program that plays at a World Class level. DailyGammon allows you export your completed matches to a file by clicking on the "Review" link next to a completed match. You can then import these saved files into GNUBG (File/Import menu) and then have the computer analyze your match for mistakes (Analyzye/Analyze match menu). Don't be discouraged by the harsh ratings it gives, especially for the cube :-)

Another program, Snowie, is reported to be even better than GNUBG, but it costs $380.
