The top players at each tournament receive Master Points for determination of club player of the year. The player placing first will receive the number of points equal to the number of players in the tournament. Second place (each of the players with one loss) will receive half of the points of first place. Third place (loser of the consolation final) will receive half of the points of second place, etc. Points will continue to be awarded in this way, dividing by two down the bracket, until all players who won at least one match (excluding byes) have been awarded points. These are the Master Points standings for Kansas City Backgammon Club in 2021: |
